Great Music From Great Local Musicians

Downtown Unity Circle features great local musicians every weeks.  Here are some of the talent we feature and where you can find their music.  Soon we will be adding video and audio clips so you can sample their performances.

Barbara Dieckmann is a terrific vocalist and songwriter who has lead our music twice and will definitely be invited back.  Barbara doesn't have the big web presence of the other vocalist listed here, but that is just a matter of time.  She is just to good to keep it a secret for long.

Chris Pfeiffer has a soulful country sound that you can sample on his website.  There you'll also find information about his three CD releases.  He is booked at a new thought community virtually every weekend, and when you hear him you'll know why.  He was a big hit at his performance for us last year, so we are looking forward to having him back often.

Cindy Pitts is a singer/songwriter with a beautiful voice, a natural melodic style and poetic lyrics. Her songs reflect many styles including: folk, jazz, country, rock, pop, funk and others.  For more about Cindy click here.
Frankie Hernandez was called "the Latino Stevie Wonder" at the State of Jefferson Music Fest. His powerful, soulful voice, manic optimism, and catchy and eccentic songwriting have made him an Austin, Texas music scene staple, indispensable touring sideman, Los Angeles session musician, front man and band leader.   For more information visit his page on MySpace.
India Taylor's upbeat spiritual songs are fun to work out to and drive with, and her lyrics empower you to achieve your dreams and feel centered.
