Welcome...
Downtown Unity Circle is a progressive spiritual community in central Austin near Zilker Park, the University of Texas and the state capitol building. Our spiritual "adventure" is to find God in everything and everyone.
Meet Our Minister
![]() Rev. Tony Roebuck is the new full time minister of Downtown Unity Circle. Tony and his wife Julie moved here from Renton Washington where he was the senior minister at Unity Center of Peace for the past eight years. Tony was also the senior minister at Unity of Charlottesville for ten years. Tony says, "I express a universal understanding of spirituality that honors the Truth in all religious paths and relate this to the Truth in the teachings and example of Jesus Christ. I facilitate and empower a consciousness of wholeness, oneness, abundance, love, transformation and peace in the congregation and through the congregation into the world. My style of ministry emphasizes teaching through stories, humor, music, poetry, current media technology, persoanal example and experience." We invite you to join us to listen to and meet Tony this Sunday morning! |
What's So Different About Unity?
Downtown Unity is a progressive and adventuresome spiritual community. What do we mean by "adventuresome?" We are less prescriptive than most. We try to provide you the tools to find your spiritual path; and to find God in everything and everyone.
We are members of Unity Worldwide Ministries. Unity offers practical spiritual teachings that empower people to lead healthy, abundant and meaningful lives. Many say Unity practices "practical Christianity."
Unity provides an alternative to negative religious experiences. We are inclusive and open-minded. We encourage personal initiative and growth.
We believe that prayer works! We strive to help people find a stronger connection to God every day and we honor all paths to God.
We have inspiring ministers and are involved in social action... and social activities. We believe in making a differnce in the world. And we believe in being a positive example and role model.
We Welcome Everyone
Your race, spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation, or whatever some group once told you made you unwanted, probably doesn't matter to us.
We want to invite you to join us at next Sunday's service for what we promise to be a thought provoking, inspiring and fun hour. Youth Education services take place at the same time.We meet every Sunday at 10:30 AM. Our meeting location is:
